Note to self, stop reading reviews!!Such a mixed bag of results it seems.It's either the best buy ever or a complete hit and miss it seems.Now I'm confused. Are there any local dealers in SA to send it to if anything does go wrong?The watches are made by a seperate company, but they basically have the same quality as Xiaomi themselves. Xiaomi does have a local presence, try mia.africa/za that is the local site for their products and where I bought mine. It's been 3 months with it now, has slammed it while Mtb'ing into gravel, rocks, trees and loads of dit. Screen is still scratch free and the watch is working perfectly. Would recommend it.

And then Strava with in my case momentum's app. Google fit also works with it quite well.Does anyone know if these can by synced with discovery vitality in any way to fitness points?
Pieter-za Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 I joined the FB groups https://www.facebook.com/groups/amazfit.stratos/ when I was considering getting one, and the watch seems to deliver an overall good experience. (Just make sure to get the model for the correct region.)
