Converting to 11-32 cassette

Hi guys. I'm currently running Sram Rival 11 speed compact 50/34 chain set with 11-28 cassette.

I want to swap my cassette for an 11-32. If I do this, would I need to replace my rear derailleur as well as well as my chain?

Thanks

Just check chain length. When on small/small it can be an issue. I have done it on 3 wheelsets. BTW: I buy 105 clusters from CWC when they are on sale...

Is there a way to check if it's small or mid cage?

Are 105 cassettes compatible with sram? I'm pretty happy with the way it shifts at the moment. I don't want issues with mixing another brand.

Thanks guys

The technical guys must confirm that but I think they can be mixed. My groupset is Shimano though.

Yebo. All Shimano and SRAM cassettes and chains are perfectly interchangeable. Not all for mtb though
