BuffsVintageBikes Posted July 3, 2019 Share This year was my first time back in Knysna for this event in about 12 years. I did the 50km mtb and the 50km road. Really enjoyed the mtb route even though it never had much in terms of ST beside the bit early in the race. The road ride was boring as hell, straight out and back but I still managed to enjoy myself despite getting a bit wet the last 8kms. The water stations were a major disappointment. They could certainly learn something from Stillwater Sports on how to host stations. The hilight of the weekend was the airb&b I rented right across from the start line. Parked my vehicle on the Fri evening and never started it again the entire weekend, it was so central we were able to walk wherever we needed to be.
