elixir 9r carbon review?

my hopes couldn't be fixed so the mechanics putting elixir 9R carbons on my DH bike,

should i sell em and buy shimano or are they good brakes?

pros and cons of these brakes?

that's the 4 pot version. The normal elixir 9's are a 2 pot. 

 

Goose - why couldn't they be fixed?!

Must say I can find pretty much everything for my hope m4's on Chain Reaction. 

guy whos working on them got hold of hope agents and they could't find spares for it

or he who knows nothing, and is talking rubbish like previous incidents..

ah there we go. Local guys won't keep legacy stock, most probably. That, or their spares selection is a bit low. Knowing International Trade... likely both.

cant seem to find pads,and the brakes keep locking up slowly

Which model are they? If they're the old m4 with 4 individual pads per caliper, then Trail n Tar have stock of Quaxar pads that will fit that older version. If they keep on locking up slowly then it's likely that the seals need replacing, or the master cylinder piston assembly. Both of those are available on CRC for like almost nothing.

they take only 2 brake pads,he said it was locking because the pads where empty
