David Marshall Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Do 16 3x on DS and 8 2x on NDS.Not worth it. 4 empty holes on the rim and the problem with a 2:1 pattern is that the alternate holes on the Crest are biased to get the spoke/nipple line straight. Plus a nightmare spoke calculation.

Plus a nightmare spoke calculation.Only holes open on NDS of hub. But yes, spoke hole drilling will not be optimal. But if you have the rim and the hub, its the easiest and cheapest fix.
