Trainer/Training ultra marathons

Hi

Need some urgent advice or guidance! I've been doing ultra marathons for some time now but must change my strategy asap. Last 2 I suffered badly(dehydration, sick etc.) - Desert Dash and 36One. I've changed supplements, because I was advised that might be sugar content, still the same. I've completed both but I'm doing myself more harm than anything else, and I'm sure this is the main reason for my current kidney stone issue.

Well I've entered the Dash again and this time I want to not just enjoy the race I would like to enjoy my time after the race also.

Can anyone recommend a training plan or trainer or dietitian(if necessary) based in the Northern Cape(Kimberley/Bloemfontein) that can assist?

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

kidney issues?

I'd start with a visit to a sports physician if I was you

Thanks #varkhart, at 45 it's the first time I've experienced kidney related issue.

My doc insists on annual kidney function tests because of the training I do (he also cycles)
