How do I find Enduro "routes" at Welvanpas, Helderberg, Jonkers, etc

I'm interested in doing some of the organised enduro's in the Cape, but would like to see if my perception of the terrain and bike required is a match with what I do

Would appreciate if someone can point me to the relevant routes, or let me tag along some time

I reckon I wont hold too many of you up :-)

Strava segments

https://www.strava.com/

search the routes on your PC and you will find the enduro sections

But best would be to enter. There is enough time between riders.

Still difficult to find the enduro sections on Strava

What I'd like to do is ride some sections before I enter an event to check 1st - on a Silverback Sesta, which is not exactly an enduro machine :-) But I love that kind of riding though, and might look at another bike in future

You don't really need anything more than a Sesta to compete. None of the enduro segment are that technical that you really need 160mm of travel. yes, Jonkers and Helderberg have some bigger stuff, but all that travel is mainly just to show off some bling. The only trail that I have seen with marked enduro segments was at Boschendal. Some of the enduro stages don't follow the normal day to day route and its not accessible. On the last race at Welvanpas, we had kids and much older guys entering. Its a super relax vibe between stages, so you wont be pushed or get in anyone way. The fastest guys are normally also first at the start of each stage. If you can manage the Helderberg trail on a normal weekend then enter for the next race and see how it goes.  You will be surprised that its not that hard and that there is really little to no pressure.
