My cartridge also gave up the ghost - just had it pumped up (refill) to 1.2bar. It can be done in the same machine that re-pressures struts. As good as new at about R50. Took it to McNaughtan's and they have branches in KZN.

I fitted a Transfer a few weeks ago. Have not had this issue at all.

Perhaps your leg height and seat tube height put the post clamp in a favourable spot on the dropper. It is fairly common for the Fox Transfer to get stuck down when clamped at 5nM.
