What effect does Stan's have on Maxxis? A friend of mine runs Stan's in his Maxxis Crossmarks with no issues.

On CWC site when you go and view the maxxis tyres it say that "Maxxis warranty policy does not cover any product malfunction or damage caused by ammonia based sealant e.g. stans no tube sealant" Do i was just being cautious nt to damage my tyres.

Thanks for allthe replies, willhave a look at all the brands that was mentioned and see which is best. I am going to CWC on friday for that tyres as they are on special there at the moment. Will also asked for advise from them regarding the sealant issue

If you have not bought the tyres yet I suggest that you rather look at the Vittoria brand, I see CWC has them on special for not much more than the Maxxis. I currently run the Vittoria Barzo in the front and Saguaro in the back, awesome combo!!

*Edit: I have them setup with Stan's and it seals with no issues and I have very little tyre pressure loss, about 0.1 bar per week so I just pump them every 2/3 weeks

Thanks Duncan, any advise on the crossmark tyre?

Ryder (fugit - same stuff) and Stan's...no problem! Not mixed together though! One or the other!
