Hi Guys,

I'm trying to get hold of a Speedplay Grease gun here in SA, has anybody seen/heard of where I could get one from?

I just use an older vets syringe, it works the same.

The nozzle on that thing looks like a Park GG-1 would work too. If your LBS has one ask them to test one.

I tried using a normal plastic syringe but contrary to the various video's on hand it just blasted back at me. Did not go through to the spindle

Normal plastic ones are a bit flimsy, you cannot really put alot of pressure on it to push the grease through. 

 

 

This type is a lot more sturdy, basically what I use. Remember to remove the O ring at the back of the pedal, when pushing the grease through.

It works, you just have to be slow and patient. Alot does squirt back out, but I have had success with just a plain syringe from Dischem and some patience. It takes a while to push the grease through to the spindle and out that side.
