Has anyone here fitted Raceface Narrow Wide to at Sram crank with 104 bcd?

How did you sort out the chainline?

The chainring does not have a shim so it will run in the middle of where the 2 x 10 used to run.

Chainring is flat on the one side.

Where can one get long enough chainrings bolts and shims to get the correct / better chainline

Not all narrow wides are the same. They vary in thickness so some you might want to mount behind the spider while others are best on top. Your required chain line will determine which.

Avoid washers. Its just a bad idea. Another potential slot for a dropped chain to get stuck in.

I have the same ring on one of my bikes. Raceface crank. Mounted on top of spider.

But only because its a downhill bike so I want a chainline which favours the smaller rings out back. If I throw it on my trail bike. I'll mount it behind the spider so I'm more or less in the middle of the cassette out back when chain is straight.

Unfortunately the only way I can mount it is on the inside and then the chain ring .0.4mm furthur away from the frame so the chainline is worse than when running 2x 10 using the big ring.

I wanted to get it in the middle of there the small and big ring would be.

Using at is mean that when using the biggest cogs at the back the is at a worse angle than when x-chaingin on the old 2 x 10

You can try Rapide for chainring bolts and spacers.

This ^^^. Just did a 2 x 10 to 1 x 11 upgrade on a colleague's bike the weekend. Got the spaces from Rapide and it sorted out the chain line issue perfectly

Did you have to use longer bolts?

I used the longer bolts from the granny ring with the nuts from the big ring.

AHH cool thanks, I did not know if they would fit .... but that can work

Thanks very much will try that out.
