Scott Spark to RC

Wondering what the general answer to this will be, Yes or No.

 

Can one take a 2017 Scott Spark with 120mm travel, front & rear suspension and convert it to a Scott Spark RC by replacing the fork & shock with 100mm travel..... I believe it is a NO. Your take?

 

The frame specs between the two models are slight differences.

You can, you will have to change the yoke, and shock, along with fork. Not worth it IMO, the normal Spark can do everything well, the RC can only do one thing well. 

 

Unless you are aiming for a top step on the podium, why would you want to change it?
