I don't believe there is such thing as crappy data. How you interpret the data afterwards can be hogwash.

The 935 records everything that the 520 does and more, so you must be only using the 520 as a head unit so that you don't have to keep looking at your watch.

 

As the 935 records the more data just upload that workout and delete the 520 workout rather than uploading.

 

It seems you are actually just making your own problem when there really isn't one that exists!

Correct. But I want to. Second device offers more in-depth data (after the ride) than the first (during the ride).

 

Correct, as per the thread title.

 

Hand on heart, I deleted nothing. Activities highlighted were recorded with both devices, yet only 1 activity shows.

Them discard the activity from the first device when you are finished the ride and only upload the activity from the first device
