Only thing to keep in mind with the trek is the new axle standard - Boost QR which I think is 141mm wide. You will only be able tp replace the huns with Trek hubs. If that puts you off then rather buy yourself a Cotic Solaris Max frame, and do a custome build - it will end up being a much much better bike than any of the 3 you mentioned. The Spez used to be good value.. mine was R17k all in brand spankers. Not sure what happened to the pricing on the new one. I think the Cotic custom build will be cool but pricey!

I think the Cotic custom build will be cool but pricey!Yeah, dunno why they jumped so much in price in just one year! It's what put me off the Fuse and into the direction of a cystom Cotic build. You're right though, was quite a bit more pricey, but alot more value per Rand spent. That said, you can do it for 23k if you go for a mixture of classifieds bargains and new bits and pieces.
