travisza Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 I need to replace the headset bearings for my MTB. I've removed the old ones so I can see exactly what they are. Where is the best place to buy? Can I get them from somewhere like Bearing Man?
Ysterperd Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Depending whether they have an offset chamfered edge. If they are plain, then the odds are good but as soon as they have an angle to them chanches are slim that they would stock them.
enduroist Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Any bike shop that services bikes will have them. Just take your old ones with. Bought mine last week R300 for the pair. Most tapered mtbs use the same size bearings. 1.1/8 upper and 1.5 lower.
