I had guests over from the USA for the Argus on a triple. Pat White said that as far as she knew it was the first one to do the Argus. Imagine the confusion it caused to get them registered. It has disks as well as calipers but the calipers are not worth much.

 

Apparently they went through a new set of pads on the Argus.

This is quite nifty, I like. After doing Argus I wanted to share the experience and came up with an idea for an add on to my bike for my dogs to sit in so they can see the beautiful argus route too. The only thing is I am having a bit of difficulty coming up with a pedalling contraption for them as the bastards have to do some of the work as well. Is there a rule at Argus about your riding parter being a canine??? I havent seen any so i think it should be legal.

Remember the Tandem you see above is NOT a alu, carbon or steel jobbie...... it is made from bamboo. Black bamboo with either hemp or carbon bound lugs.
