Just pitch-up at Tour de Frans shop at 4:50 on a Saturday, Route is a 65k around kempton, Bedfordview back to boksburg via Airport route, not a big group but lekke, average around 26/27. (Road route)

 

Are these roads busy? I suppose at 0450 on a Saturday, nothing is busy.....

 

Looks like I'll be spending some weekends in Boksburg in the near future, so might have to pull in....

Hello

 

We do a road session on Saturday , me and my mate , we can pick you up along the way , average 22 - 23 km/h , + / - 50 - 70 km , at around 6h15 - 6h20.  

 

You can also meet Fitshack cycling club , at Elridge shopping centre , they meet at 6h30 now.

 

I also ride with a group on Sundays , but we leave early , summer time 5h30 in Lake field area.

No not really too busy. Our club Saturday ride is a very similar route. We leave at 06h30(just changed from 06h00 this weekend) from Edenglen. We see a lot of different clubs/groups. Especially along atlas road in both directions. Probably more cyclists doing this similar route than cars. Nice thing about this route is most of the route is double lane. For our route the only part that gets a bit dodge is through benoni towards petit as that's single lane and no yellow lane shoulder.
