Anyone that can help me?  I havent uploaded any info to polar protrainer as my watch was missing. When I started it up now and all my info since 12 March is gone!!!!!! Basicly since I switch to my new laptop.

Also personal details such as max hr and zone are back to default.

Any advice on how to resurrect the info?

It is on the correct person so i cant switch that.

Nope sorry, did you battery run out, or di you have it replaced?  Maybe that can explain it.  Maybe its not your watch!!!!

Have you lost the info from the watch, or the computer? The watch you can't do anything about. If you made a backup then you should be able to restore.

jammer. Its from the computer, not the watch. Everything was uploaded and it just vanished. Didnt have any backups. I have now switched on the 'automatic backup'.

Do you still have your old computer? If so, copy the folder C:\Program Files\Polar\Polar ?\Your Name into the new PC . Hopefully all your setting will come across

Go have a look and see if the information is available on your pc, you might be able to import it.

Open up windows explorer & browse to:

\Program Files\Polar\Polar Precision Performance\

there should be a folder for your user i.e "FanieFiets"

Browse that folder & see what .hrm files are available.

If there are any newer than March 08, then go back into the Polar software & import them.

Not really possible that the data can just disappear..

Jip, first thing that I did. It also p's me off went someone says that their data 'just disapeared' but its gone. The HRM files are missing. Weirdest thing ever. I've got all me excersizes on www.polarpersonaltrainer.com but that doesnt help me at all.

metoo - thnx. But alle the 'old excersizes' are not new cpu. Just the new ones that 'disapeared'.

Long live VISTA and tha all mighty blue screen of death.

Smile I don't think the Polar software runs on Vista properly. A mate of mine could not get it to work. He contacted the agents who supplied him a work around.

1. What version software are you using

2. Check the path where your files could be saved. (check under options/preferences\file location )

3. Do a search on your computer for *.hrm files, maybe they saved somewhere else
