Reproducing spam emails on a forum doesn't make it any less spam.

And perhaps do read the content before posting.  Petrol is regulated, so no demand can influence it.  The only way to reduce the petrol price is to reduce the tax, the profit of the petrol stations or the price of crude oil.  The first won't happen, the second would be very unfair of petrol station owners that barely make any operating profit on petrol, and the last depends on what OPEC decides.  Leaving you with the only solution which is reduce your driving to reduce your cost of driving.

The <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Netherlandson> was unregulated when I was there in 1998.  And petrol was around R8-R7 a liter. You could get cheaper petrol at the out of the way petrol station and it was typically the most expensive at UltraCity type petrol stations. Then again you did not need a car.  Between the bus and train services you could get most places AND they have proper bike path system.   In the 7months that I was there I hire a car once. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

While we are into conspiracies ?You have to realize that oil prices will stay high while the USon> is trying to fund their war?.  Saw a good joke just after the USon> invaded which showed a certain president pointing to a flip board saying ?We have 710 reasons to invade?.  An aid then interrupts him sayings ?Sir, the flip board is the wrong side up?Big%20smile

I started commuting by bicycle this week, and as Konafan says it is a lot more effort, organization and slep but you save a lot of money and you get a real good work out.  As I said before I think the high petrol price will do more promoting cycling in ZA than any group.   Talking of which, now we just need to get ?our? Hugwell loved CSA on board to promote cycling safety.

PS: Is there still people waiting for the licences?Evil%20Smile
