Does anyone know where groups meet in the Bedfordview (or near) area. What days the groups ride and times MTB or Road. Thanks this will be a great help for any info????????

If I'm not mistaken there is a group that meets at the virgin active on van Buuren but I may be wrong... Closest other option is Eden ale cycling club...

Edenglen club starts at Karaglen Virgin Active @ 6:30, big group split in 3 A group if you wanna bleed, B group if you only wanna puke, and C group if you wanna chat and ride

Edenglen club starts at Karaglen Virgin Active @ 6:30, big group split in 3 A group if you wanna bleed, B group if you only wanna puke, and C group if you wanna chat and ride

Bern, The edenglen guys Marc mentioned also ride during the week. There are a few groups leaving from 04h00/04h15/04h30 and then a mtb group that leaves a bit later.

If you want race pace on the road, I think the group leave from VA at about 6am on a Saturday for the good old Pomona classic. But be warned it’s fast and it’s each man for himself.

06h30 now. 06h00 in summer. Not really that fast. It's a decent pace but nothing a sub 3 rider can't handle. It's also not every man for himself. The bedfordview group rides a similar route and that is a lot faster and every man for themselves. But they ride badly(imho). They jump robots and don't stop at all. The edenglen VA group stop 3 times during the Saturday ride(In front of S4 Auto, on North Rand road. Just after the traffic lights on the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 9th Road Bredell. At the top of Pomona Road, before the turn off to Great North Road.)
