  1. Perhaps a USB hub will work for this? Not tried it yet on these devices
  2. Yip I use the USB to Ethernet converter, I’ve got a d-link and some other random generic one and they both seem to work fine on the Xiaomi device. I’ll confirm exact make / models a bit later.
  3. Have a look at the Xiaomi Mi Box. Great little device and one of the few I could find that is Google Approved to get DSTVnow working. It doesn’t have an Ethernet port but a usb Ethernet dongle does the job for me. https://www.makro.co.za/electronics-computers/audio-video/audio-components/audio-components/xiaomi-mi-box-s-updated-version-free-hdmi-cable-tv-box-android-to-watch-dstv-now-netflix-showmax-youtube-kodi-and-more/p/aced363c-001f-4757-b075-5d56b6333a25?gclid=CjwKCAjw4NrpBRBsEiwAUcLcDCN7Yej4JxY2CkfeFIcZk6-UdIHc3s6rTk2sJ99LP_ZX8Darxb6vTxoCgSMQAvD_BwE
  4. Agreed, watching Impey the first time up TJ was awesome, watching him the second time was mind blowing. And the atmosphere was great!!
  5. Agreed, the guy I saw didn’t look good when I stopped there. Hope he recovers quickly.
  6. Rode past this accident after getting caught up in the VB crash. The poor guy didn’t look good when I went past, glad to hear he got off relevantly lightly.
  7. Unfortunately only reading this now, the pr*ck seems to have caught me with the half wheeler he advertised. I was a bit naive and had a suspicion but was hasty so took a risk and made a payment yesterday only to hear nothing more from him and no answering my call today, thought I’d give him a day or two before reporting but seeing this now, it confirms my suspicions. Stupid me, lesson learnt but luckily it wasn’t a massive amount. All I can say is the wheel turns Anton or whatever your name is, and when it comes around I hope you get taught a proper lesson punk. BTW I had another number for him 0606310807 so keep a lookout. Thinking of how one would report this to the cops or if it’s even worth it.
  8. This was my 8th 94.7 and did this one on a tandem with a mate as our first tandem race. Not an easy race on tandem (and I’m sure no easier on a single bike) but was still a great day out racing. The highway section with 4 tandems in a pace line was super quick (I thought) Reversed route definitely seems to be a bit tougher with less time to recover after the hills. I wasn’t expecting that start to be so intense so that was a bit of a wake up call, the part after kyalami was also tough for us but otherwise a lekker route. Every year I look at the size of the event and I shudder to think how much planning and logistics must go into this race, and things always seem to go along without major issues so well done to the organizers and everyone involved, thanks for a great event. See you next year.
  9. Sorry I was referring to the bedfordview group. Should’ve been more specific about the VA on Van Buuren Ave.
  10. If you want race pace on the road, I think the group leave from VA at about 6am on a Saturday for the good old Pomona classic. But be warned it’s fast and it’s each man for himself.
  11. Overall I thought it was a good event for their first one, everything seemed to go ahead with no major glitches and it looked like a lot of effort went into this event, I will be back next year, however I did see a lot of comments on twitter from p*ssed off residents in the effected areas where they claim to have not been notified about road closures so perhaps some better communication to residents next year. Oh ja and thanks to Spinnekop for gooi'ing the VA bunch the middle finger as you passed us getting onto the N17 . Well ridden!!
  12. Good to meet you... well done on the podium.
  13. First time doing this race for me and it was a great event, the hilly area makes for some seriously tough riding but also some spectacular views. Day 2 was a seriously tough day, probably my toughest on a road bike so far and the TT was brutal after 3 days of riding. Great organization and everything seemed to go off smoothly so well done to the organizers and a big thanks to Road Cover and the marshals, they were brilliant and never did I feel unsafe.
  14. State 5 in Greenside (Excellent coffee!!!) Bicycle Line in Atlasville M&B on Atlas Rd Salt Cafe in Salt Rock
  15. Here is mine... interested to hear the happenings of Swift in SA going forward, it's a great brand with great service.
