Good day Hubbers

I've recently started to notice quite riders around Eldoraigne and Weirda Park on weekend mornings. I'm usually passing through and since I'm taking some time off from hitting the trails, riding in this area as a stop when passing through would be very convenient.

I would like to know if anyone on here rides in this area and if so which route/s are you riding? I don't want to just start riding and end up taking the wrong road and cause a kerfuffle with fellow road users.

Many small groups like Sutherland High just join in get to know the guys around

But What ever you do stay far away from the veld behind Mall@Reds to R55 only time and you will get jacked MTB, Quad or off road they will take it

Definitely join a group. I was in Wierdabrug police station recently and a guy was busy opening a case. He had been cycling and was robbed by a knife-wielding thug on Ruimte Road.

Thanks for the heads up hubbers attaching myself to a group seems like the best way to go.

You can try PJC Sports in Wierda Park talk to Kobus or Eban i think they still do a Sunday ride from the shop

or maybe you can Hook up with LCC at for a Saturday morning ride from the shop at lifestyle 5min ride from Eldoraigne

TBC is another that have a ride from the shop in Centurion i think Sundays

anyways a group is best

  quite close to home, and I often ride there on my own when I want to do a quick 20-30 after work... Perhaps I should reconsider
