i fitted some old 29er wheels to my wifes 26er and put some 25c semi threaded tyres on. worked lekke as a go almost anywhere bike. but the tyres would run out of talent pretty quick on the dirt.

Post us a photo..... Just one question... How on earth did you get 29 wheels to fit a 26 frame?

I’ve managed to squeeze in a 35c tyre, with a minor frame modification [emoji15], may require a little more filing to make it work.
