It's the same basic approach used in the aerospace industry." some info i gleaned from the caption to this pic:the bike weighs just 6.8 kilogrammes complete and costs A$25 000.

Yesterday there was a ride-off between Ben Kersten (26 yrs) and Shane Kelly (36, 4 time olympian) for a spot on track sprinting team. Kelly recorded the faster time so he's off to his 5th olympics. Would you say it is fair to say that the first ever Canondale that was made was also costly?
