I think ML has done the right thing by starting his own team and like DR has done before he is taking the best riders with him maybe its a bitter pill for DR to swallow and also why isnt DR at Pro-Bike anymore he was there for like what? 3 weeks and left? In all honesty if you are to say that ML has crewed him over didnt DR work at Msoft for how many years and get big $$$ out of them to sign the riders he did and then leave Msoft when they pulled the plug on the sponsorship and then he went to Pro-Bike? Guest colonel Posted June 11, 2008 Share No it wasnt cause if you look at the facts if he retired like he had of done he would have no team or riders cause the other riders had already signed with MTN for the 08 season in late 07 so how can he only retire to start his own team? He was meant to become Manager of the MTN team for 08 and then DR asked him to ride instead cause they didnt have a "finisher" for the races and he is meant to groom Juan van Heerden. Also Banji you make no sense with your info it isnt very reliable Im afraid you dont seem to have the facts and Still HOW CAN ML BE SCREWING DR OVER?? His contract is up at the end of the year like all but DG contracts on the team and he is legally allowed to go wherever the ****he wants and he also only left HSBC cause DR offered him more money to come to Msoft NO OTHER REASON the same as Neil and Danny where Ian went to FDJ. Must he be loyal forever to DR cause he gave him a ride? No I dont think so cause if thats the case people should only ever have 1 job cause they must be loyal to their employers.
