Scott Twinlock lockout lever

I have a DT Swiss M210, Air, ABS Spring, 165 x 38mm, Rebound adjustable, with remote Lockout.

I do not like the look of the standard twinlock lever that is mounted on top of the handlebar, as it is standing fairly proud of the bars, and disturbs the "clean look" of the bar sans the front derailer shifter.

Is there an alternative lever that can be used, mounted underneath the bar, to take it out of direct line of sight? I am only in need of lockout for the DT Swiss M240 shock, as my fork does not have remote lockout function.

I see no reason why the std Scott Twinloc below the bar lever won't work.

I did the same on my bike with no issues...

At R1300.00 a pop, not exactly a cheap solution.

 

Can one use any other make of lockout lever on the DT Swiss, or is the "throw length" a critical issue?

You may be able to get a right handed single lever from Scott, otherwise just get the one in the photo and leave the fork cable out.

 

The new Fox lever may work too, you'll just have to fit one and see But they're made of cheese, so rather get a Scott if you can. The RS Twinlock definitely won't work, the cable pull is too short.

I have a nearly new (Bike has been standing for the last year...) above the bar twinloc without the intergrated dropper post lever (2017 Scott Spark 940) if you keen to swop...
