Dpds on where you are staying as to the options!  There's the normal gravel roads - not wildly exciting technically but go on for quite a while.  then there are options like the 4x4 route between Wuppertahl and Matjiesrivier.  Rough, loose (in summer) and with some steeepp hills (500m in 3k's from the wuppertahl side).

Also check out Kraaiberg pass from Biedouw valley and over to Kouberg pass (plus some 4x4 routes up that side).  Plus the ride to heuningvlei and the back via brugkraal.

Plus other options round krommerivier / sanddrif etc.  just dpds on where you're staying! note: just be careful of what's in the wilderness area under CNC's control..... its nice, very nice riding but.....

A good bet is to have a look at Peter Slingsby's Cederberg Map.  It has the main roads as well as 4x4 etc tracks marked

Agree with Cheryl's suggestions.

Sanddrif/ Dwarsrevier have some mapped routes you can try - a bit short, but you can combine them.

A word of caution: there is generally (thankfully) no cellphone reception in the Cedarberg, so if you are riding on your own off the main road observe  safe hiking rules - water, warm clothing, advise somebody of where you are going and when you will be back. If you fall and cannot ride out you are in big trouble while they search for you.

Otherwise enjoy a very special place - maybe you'll even get some snow if we get a decent cold front soon.

Sandrif is a fantastic spot with some good riding and hiking.

Kromrivier just around the corner is also a good option. In fact there are so many places to stay all with good riding and access to stunning hikes and climbs.Algeria is a good camping option.
