Old Zipp 404's and New 404's

Is there somebody that had old(pre dimple) 404's and rides new ones.  How do they compair to each other?

There is a difference between 2007 and 2008 wheels as well! Apart from the decals.

I've ridden both (tubbie versions) over a period of time and I couldn't really tell the difference tbh. Granted they weren't ridden back to back so the advances of the dimpled ones are subtle.

 

Both were incredibly stiff and light and felt zippy.

 

I do think the advances in technology are not superficial and if you can go for the later version then do it.
