End of the line for this Axis frame?

Hi all.

Noticed this while washing the bike today. Had it about 2 years, got it second hand so not sure on age or mileage of the bike, but I gather Axis is one of the cheaper makes.

Regular run is the spruit and delta.

Should / can this be fixed, and does anyone fix it or it it time to move on up?

depends where that is top tube ,seat tube .. chain stay.. looks like top/down tube ? remove some more paint and see the extent of the crack or if its just bubbling/flaking paint ...

Sorry, yes it’s the down tube. The edges are very hard so don’t think it’s a paint bubble, but will sand it back to make sure.

Looks like paint from this very uninformed view point, but the crack looks more jagged than straight, and the middle of the downtube is not normally a high stress area...

To be honest, either way it will likely be quite low risk, with a cheap repair on the cards...
