I wouldn't bank on ceramic bearings making much of a difference and personally I would go for ABEC5 grade before ceramic. I don't have many bikes come through the workshop with ceramic bearings but of those that do a good proportion leave their rough noisy bearings in my scrap bin!

The cup-and-cone system makes it easy to adjust the bearings. edit: friend mentioned a reference: RS-100 bearing kit.
