mon-goose Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Yesterday at Magic forest I came across 4 teenagers on 250/500cc motorbikes riding up the single track at magic. It was around the beacon at the top of the second little climb and the area that runs near the houses. I politely told them to get lost but not sure if they listened. I turned back for some of the single track and didn't see them again. I also noticed when I came down the single track further down that there were nice wide tire marks all the way back down to the first bridge so it looks like they started quite low down and rode up lots of the single track Anyway I suggest we just be careful as colliding with a motorbike might not be fun. Out of interest, does anyone have a number for someone we could call in a situation like that, maybe the conservation guys or someone
butafly Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 i believe, the area belongs to a private individual and he almost closed it down when this type of thing became a regular occurance a few years ago. there are (were) signs prohibiting mbikes from riding there. Call Tygerberg Mtb Club they look after the area.

You can send them to me and I will refer it to the club.Or you could shoot them, but be careful, its not legal and you could go to jail if you get caught. We have managed to sort this before using pics.
