Is American Classic alive and well? or dead?

So i love my wheelset. AMC Wide Lightning... had it for almost a year no, with zero incidents... no wobble, no popped spokes, no dents... just solid, light and I can run very low pressures.

I was sad to hear the news of AMC's demise earlier this year

as I can't imagine not replacing my Wide Lightnings with anything else other than another set of Wide Lightnings.

But, the AMC website seems alive and well? No signs of death? And we still seem to be selling their products online in South Africa?

Cape cycle systems are the distributor and they bought enough spares to service existing stock and legacy customers for a few years. There shouldn’t be an issue if you decide to buy a set new or 2nd hand

Nope. AC are not manufacturing any more.

An online company is selling the remaining stock:

I needed new spoked for my AC Argent's, but they weren't available.

Stock will be limited and once sold out, that's the end of that.

What a pity, because I also love my Wide Lightnings and Argent tubeless

For a person who isn't aware they aren't manufacturing anymore, their official website doesnt make that clear at all. https://amclassic.com/

Guess i was living in hope!
