Cathkin Park MTB Trails

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know about MTB trails in the Cathkin Park area? We are staying over at Champagne Castle hotel  this weekend and hoping to do a trail of about 40km this weekend.

I would appreciate any help.

Great trail, start is at the brewery/airfield just down the main road from Champagne Sports. They have added more trails since I was there in July, so not sure how much you can get in. I suggest you go chat to Iain at Mountain Splendour, he can advise on routes in the Sappi land and some great riding up in the hills around Loskop. Try Dragon Peaks too, they have some awesome track on their property. When I need a big ride, I link Cathkin trails with Mountain Splendour, Sappi, Loskop area and Dragon Peak. You can get some proper distance in.

My folks live in Bergville, heading that side for x-mass, usually ride around there on the farms, but will definately be one some of those trails!

Hi everyone. We did the peakview loop in Cathkin Park this weekend. It was really amazing. The trail is in a very good condition. Thanks for everybody commenting and the organisers of the trails.
