Hi,

my chain stay snapped on Saturday during the Hennops race. It is a clean snap but I am not sure if the whole thing is bust or if it can be welded. Does any one maybe know if I can get that specific part or if it can be welded. What the risks are to the welding etc. Don't really want to replace a whole bike for one part.

Try contacting FELT International - dealersupport@feltbicycles.com for a replacement.

They helped us out last year.

No Agent in the country as far as I know.

Had mine welded in Bloem at Weidemans Engineering.

Still going.

They tend to break on the felt edict as mine did too.

Cost was under R200

Thanks every one for the assistance, got hold of Felt directly in the US with the email from Naas. They have sent me a replacement part under warranty claim and I have already fitted it and so can take my bike out. There were no questions asked just needed to send proof of ownership (thanks to mail history and e-invoices ( Bike bought in 2013)) the serial number and 2 days later got the tracking number from UPS.

The guys were really awesome.

Thanks for the help here too.

Felt left the country a few years back and they are still looking after their clients in SA. That speaks volumes of the brand.

There are brands still in SA that don't give such quick turnaround times.
