Howzit guys

 

Seeking some advice here. Will an 11SPD front and rear Ultegra Derailer work on a 10SPD bike? I currently have an 11SPD crank on my 10SPD bike.

Front yes, rear no.

I've used Shimano 9/10 and Sram 10/11 interchangeably suggesting that Shimano Ultegra 10/11 should work too although PeterF seems to suggest not.

My experience has generally shown derailleurs and cranks not to be speed specific (with same brand).

 

PS not too sure about "detailers".

In my experience 8/9/10 speed rear derailleurs and shifters work together without too much trouble but 11 speed rear derailleurs must be used with 11speed shifters as suggested by PeterF
