CatzSpace "frail" Posted May 23, 2019 Share MY RIDE STARTED BACK @ PLATTEKLOOF.Heading over to VREDE FARMS. Cycling through KLAPMUTS to WELLINGTON. Over BAINES KLOOF onto RAWSONVILLE. Cycling past WORCESTER to ROBERTSON. Getting to ROBERTSON, having first Pitstop @190KM. Finally getting to TRADOUW'S PASS. Arriving at BARRYDALE. Crawling into LADYSMITH @02H00! UNABLE TO FIND ANY FOOD OR DRINKS,BUT FOUND A NIGHT CLUB? R20 for small coke. After a taking a snooze behind the bushes for 1H30.Ready again to rock and roll.HUIS RIVIER PASS Getting to CALITZDORP for Breakfast.Arrived in OUDTSHOORN just in time for Lunch.Headed on over to HARTENBOS. FUN & GAMES Cycling down ROBINSON PASS was hair raising scary, dodging Baboons and the odd car @70km. I STILL HAD TO CYCLE 18KM TO MY REST STOP! CatzSpace "frail" Posted May 23, 2019 Share BACK IN HARTENBOS @00H00 ON SATURDAY NIGHT/ SUNDAY MORNING. I found the other riders already resting @HARTENBOS.I tagged along with two other cyclists to OUDTSHOORN.After a quick breakfast @WIMPY we headed back out,but my legs decided to give up. I later got joined by another cyclist as we headed for CALITZDORP. I stopped @CALITZDORP for fresh drinks. Heading over to LADYSMITH in time for Dinner. As i was finnishing, the last two cyclists arrived at LADYSMITH.I then hung around and tagged along with them, helping each other back to BARRYDALE. BUT IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE, AS I ROLLED INTO BARRYDALE MY GEAR CABLE SNAPPED. I Managed to source a Cable and got it refitted, after making sure my phone and Power Bank were Recharged.
