Midrand Group Rides / Clubs

Hi people!

 

I'm looking at getting back into cycling after about 4-5 years out the saddle.

Recently got myself a cheap road bike to see if I can get bitten again by the sport.

 

Is there any clubs or groups to join in midrand for unfit, basically newbie? Lol

Speak to Peter Häusler of Midrand Country Cyclists. They are based in Midrand (duh) and are very accommodating of newbies.

Thanks people. Went out with MCC this morning. Short 33km's ride. Was testing for my unfit self but at least it's a start. Better to be in a group. By myself I would have quit at the 10 km mark at most. Lol
