Valverde only has 54s on the kid left to defend with.

 

The two remaining climb stages are going to be mental! Remember Lopez is chasing 3rd and the white Jersey when he attacks Pogocar. They could both leapfrog the Oom onto the podium.

Week 3 and a 20 year old is 3rd on a Grand Tour ladder. Remarkable.

 

Indeed... and he is not showing any signs of weakening .. covered every attack by Lopez with ease.

 

The Oom looked a bit vulnerable today after his hard effort yesterday but luckily for him super domestique Soler came to the rescue.

Now go ride a back to back mountain stages. :eek:

 

Tough as but is it really a good idea to carry on riding? Knee injuries have crippled many a riders career hope he's getting the best advice. Either way the guy is nails.
