Specialized Stumpjumper ST to LT conversion

Hi Guys 

 

wonder if anyone has changed anything on there SPECIALIZED STUMPJUMPER ST 2019? 

 

Im wanting to change the short travel to long travel is this possible ? 

 

 

current set up 130 Front 120 back ( if i change the 130 front to 140 and leave the 120 back would it mess the riding feel up big time ? ) 

wouldn't mind 140 front 130 back 

 

any help would be appreciated

A friend of mine put a 140 Ribbon on his ST, and he is not complaining at all, quite the opposite.

 

I am also looking at upgrading my ST to 140mm in the front.

I did the same with my camber. Went Reba 120 to Pike 140.

 

Didn't notice anything adverse.

I asked earlier on a thread, i believe there's a linkage change for the 130mm

It is definitely interchangeable, just different linkage parts that are needed (as well as a longer stroke shock). Give any Specialized store a call and they will be able to give you the part numbers you need to order. It's not gonna be cheap though as you are in for a new shock.

 

If I was you I'd just slap a 140mm fork on it and leave the rear alone.

Did you also change the rear shock? If so, what size shock and which yoke?
