GrahamS2 Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 I lived in Ballito until March, when I emigrated. Not much long distance ocean swimming in Ballito due to the currents, but there are many groups that go out from ushaka and pirates in Durban every morning.
Roguemeister Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 I spend a fair amount of time in ballito, but as mentioned most social training (swims and cycles) are done from durbz side. Dolphin striders do a lot of runs so that's a great club to hook up with and get some running done. They have a time trial every Thursday that starts just above mozambik restaurant, sometime around 5 30 / 5 45 and it's a nice route. You will meet lots of runners there of all speeds.
