So I will be having that finest of days sometime fairly soon - new bike day following stupid insurance premium escalating accident ....

New bike is disc not rim brake and I will be looking to upgrade the wheelset at some point.

What are you running and what did you pay? Recommendations and ideas sought.

Contact Reon Smal at Sportopia Cycles in Saltriver. He is the agent for SALT Carbon wheels, and I know that the 2020 line up will include road disc wheels.

I have a set of rim brake Salt's in 38/50mm config, and they are brilliant.

I looked around second hand for a while, but then took the plunge and bought darkhorse (local brand) 36mm deep section carbon wheels:

You can select a disc option.

I flipping love them, but then they are my first "fancy" wheels, so I don't really know better. In any case they look great, dropped 500g from my bike and have improved the ride quality.
