Ampandy Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Not solder but weld lugs onto the frame to take hydraulic or cable disc calipers. Have done quite a few and all have worked out very well.

I have 650b x 42c WTB Resolute tires that slot into my steel Cafe racer, making it a super diverse bike. I have an old 26er carbon frame I have been wanting to do this with for ages but I can't find a 440mm or shorted carbon QR fork like the old 26er Rapide pitchforks or the Java ones from China. If someone in Cape Town has one of those and wants part with it or wants the old 26er frame give me a shout!
