Scott Scale 960 vs a Silverback Sola 1

I'm interested in a Scott Scale 960 or a Silverback Sola 1. I'm not sure which choice to make. The price is almost the same, the availability will certainly influence the choice, but is the one much better than the other?

The Sola 1 might have better components than the 960 due to it being 1.

Are they both brand new?

Based on 2020 models the Sola is a bit better spec'ed with GX Eagle vs the Scott's NX. As well as a RS Recon vs RS Judy fork.

 

However in that price range have you considered the Titan Drone Elite? MUCH better specs, much more value for money, have a look at Bike-addict's prices.

yes I am a Scott fan but in that price range I would go with the Titan drone elite much much better spec than sola or scale 960.

I had a Sola 1 (2018 model). Great bike, and would buy one again, but at the moment, as mentioned above, at that price point you simply can't beat the titan drone
