ZeroPlay Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 A friend of mine ploughed through a pothole on our ride yesterday and dented the braking surface of his Mavic Ksyrium SSC rim quite badly. Is this fixable? If so, how? Thanks.
Red Zone Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 you can try to sand the rim down to a flat surface again, but I dont think you will ever get it perfectly smooth again,so you will always have a shudder when you brake. The rim may also be weakened at the ding
