Hi - got a set of TUBED commuting tyres on my 26'er, and they work great;

never seen a slick/semi-slick TUBELESS commuting tyre for 29" wheels; any heads-up on what to look at?

Of course a second set of rims, + matched cluster, would then work great, but there is a (significant) cost involved to that, so for now, JUST looking for 29'er 'semi-slicks'...

Am commuting 1 - 2x per week, Hout Bay to Paarden Eiland, 30km distance...

I have a harbour permit, so I traverse CT Harbour, a fair bit of small debris around, so am looking for a fair degree of puncture-resistance, too.

thanks for the advice!

Chris

Hey Chris, your best bet in terms of reliability and genuine tubeless is a set of gravel tires.

They come pretty big these days (43 to 50c) and most are rigged tubeless.

Commuter/gravel are basically the same thing when it comes to what you want out of a tire.
