DR what does your seated position on the bike look like?

are you a little stretched on the bike?

I'm asking this because I've seen a few folk who have slightly too long a reach roll their hips forward and that this manifests in the feet but also shoulders, neck and hands.

do you have other symptoms as well?

I don't feel stretched out. Will need to get a photo taken from the side. 35mm stem wont hurt. Currently on a 50mm. Reach is 452mm. Wasn't much more than my previous bike that had a 50mm on it. I did however go to 800mm wide bars from 760mm.

Other symptoms.... I have a muscle (right thoracolumbar facia) that feels like it pulls a bit on some rides. Mostly when the riding gets a bit spirited. This does point to being stretched out?

Left hand has had some minor discomfort/numbness on one ride before. This was on the last day of 4 hard rides in a row. I wrote it off as fatigue and it didn't last long on the ride. I loosened my grip and pumped my hand a couple of time to make it go away.

Out of curiosity, what was ultimately the outcome? Was it your shoes, pedals, bike fit or a combination of them all etc.?
