Runner vs Cyclist

I either completely agree with you or else completely disagree:

- as a "softer" target, you _should_ be more aware;
- as a "harder" target you should be more aware of "softer" targets. In the
  Netherlands they crucify any motorist who hits a cyclist or pedestrian and
  then hang out the remains to be picked at by the crows. As a motorist you
  are so aware of them you give them such a wide berth you land up in the
  North Sea.

The "I'm bigger so f*ck the rest" attitude is what is causing so many deaths
and injuries on the roads. We need to change it to "I'm bigger, so I need to
be more careful"...

I left that part out - I hereby officially update my sentiment to "respect the little stuff and run away from the big stuff".

Very nicely put.

Now that one's sorted, how about "peace in the Middle East"?

Oi! Watch what you say about the middle east - I live in Benoni Wink

There will never be peace in the middle east - lack of mountains and merciless wind means there's always huge bunches guttering each other which means somebody is always half wheeling which means someone is always crashing which always means fisticuffs in the parking lot after the race OuchOuch

Nah just kidding - we're pretty relaxed in the middle eadt - it's the far east you need to worry about....
