Mountain Bru Posted May 20, 2021 Share Anyone else doing the Trailseeker this weekend at Buffelsdrift? I'm entered for the marathon (70km)... Anyone possibly have a gpx file of the route? Can't seem to find anything useful on the website?
JK7 Posted May 20, 2021 Share That is the only info I could find. Apparently we should get a whatsapp with start times (my buddy got one, I did not)

Mountain Bru Posted May 20, 2021 Share Thanks for the gpx files ????. I'm not too worried about getting lost, more just to know whats coming in terms of distances remaining and climbs. Did the 2019 route also start at the agricultural research counsel? Edited May 20, 2021 by Mountain Bru
Steady Spin Posted May 20, 2021 Share Looks like Rocks 2 Crocks rears it's ugly head around 45km. Ouch for those last climbs. Im suspecting a combo of the 50km Buffel and maybe some of Zebra. Ends with Graveyard into Supertube Edited May 20, 2021 by Steady Spin
JulienR Posted May 20, 2021 Share I am doing the 70km. i see they are 3 water points. Does anyone know if they will have food (e.g. energy bars) at the water points? I asked and am still waiting for an answer...

Mountain Bru Posted May 21, 2021 Share Weather says around 8deg at 7am, and 17deg at 11am... So now the age old question.... What to wear? Arm warmers? Base Layer? Thin Jacket? Don't have a gilet, so newspaper on the chest for the start?
JK7 Posted May 22, 2021 Share Long sleeve gloves and bas layer long sleeve shirt for me. Shorts. Should be enough.
