Hens teeth - 30T ebike chainring

Hi Guys

I am desperately needing  a 30T chainring to fit on a Truckrun/Bafang mid-mount motor.

5 hole with a 60 BCD is required.

Any adaptors available?

Have tried them both.  Have a Chilled Squirrel home fit and they also don't have smaller rings.

When I spoke to Chilled Squirrel they offered 36 and 42 ring options.  They recommended the 42, for the higher top end.

 

Darrvin seems to go the 36 route ....

 

 

Your other option may be larger gears at the back ....  when the 8x on my Darrvin is done I may well go for 1x11 setup.  42 front, paired with 11x46 at the rear.  Marginally better climbing ratio than currently, and more top end.

 

 

PS . Keeping the motor settings the same, so the top speed is only an issue on long down hills ... so hardly worth the expense .... better granny certainly will be handy on my rig, thus the next cassette certainly will be bigger.
