Many components are compatible with one another but it begs the question as to why they are mixed and matched . For reasons not known to the buyer or a buyer not being to clued up about bikes i as a newbie would steer clear of cross dressing . Ford V 8s fit into Chev Impalla engine compartments but among the V8 purists its a no no .
